Learn how these terms differ and discover some of the reasons behind the cultural differences you observe between your Latino patients and your non-Latino patients. Have you ever wondered why Latino patients sometimes use two last names? Which one is most important? How do you file them? Learn the system and significance of Hispanic names in this course. Finally, test your knowledge of the growth trends of the Hispanic segment of our U.S. population. Cross-cultural understanding is the overarching goal of this interactive course.

Introduction to Pharmacy Spanish
Did you know that 47% of Spanish-speaking patients have at one time taken the wrong dosage because they had trouble translating the instructions for use? Learn valuable Spanish phrases for your profession such as prescription drop-off and pick-up and problems with filling prescriptions. Also, enhance your confidence in using these phrases by watching our video on the seven most common Spanish pronunciation errors made by English speakers.
