Course Details
Concepts in Clinical Pharmacokinetics Online CE Course is a self-paced, self-study, 15-week program in the fundamental principles of absorption, distribution, metabolization, and elimination of drugs from the human body. Delivered via the Internet, the program allows you to progress at your own pace, augmented by consultation with your assigned instructor-facilitator, upon request.
This course is designed primarily for practicing pharmacists and others already working in the pharmaceutical industry wanting to obtain a well-rounded and in-depth knowledge of clinical pharmacokinetics. You don't need to be an expert computer user to benefit from this online course, but you will need some basic skills and resources. You will need access to a computer with a recent web browser program and an active connection to the Internet. If you can use a web browser and an email program, you will find this course easy to use. Your web browser will need certain plug-ins in order to view and make use of all of the media presented in this course.
The programs included in this series is intended for pharmacists, faculty and residents ONLY at the Medical College of Georgia, Doctors Hospital, Southwest Georgia Pharmacy Program and the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy.
Credit will be awarded for participation and attendence at the full presentation, passing score of the post-assessment and activity evaluation. No partial credit will be given.
DEADLINE for claiming CE credit for Grand Rounds is December 15, 2011
